Description
Applications are open to undertake a full-time PhD at the faculty of Business and Social Sciences, University of Southern Denmark with focus on individual projects. We are particularly interested in candidates within private law, tax law, administrative law and constitutional law. The Ph.D. project must contribute to the research within one (or several) of the institute’s four research groups and must be relevant to the future employers of our students. The project must be within one or several of the fundamental areas of law or in the cross field between law and economics.
Value
Your employment as a Salaried PhD Research Fellow is governed by the agreement of 10 November 2015 on Graduate Employees in government appendix 5 – protocol on PhD Research Fellows. The scholarship will run for three years and it also covers full tuition.

You are expected to have academic qualifications corresponding to the level obtained by completing a relevant Master’s degree programme.

- Fully Funded PhD Position in Functional Proteomics and Cell Signalling
Description
The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology invites applications for a PhD scholarship within the field of mass spectrometry-based proteomics for studying cellular signalling.
The position is financed by a grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The funded project aims at building knowledge on key regulators involved in cellular fate determination of adult stem cells. The chosen candidate will develop and apply mass spectrometry-based quantitative approaches to decipher the composition of the multi-protein complexes formed on these decisive regulators, and will further characterize their involvement in driving stem cell differentiation.

Eligibility
The department of biochemistry and molecular biology is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, and ambitious scientist with strong communication and collaborative skills. The successful candidate should have documented experience with mass spectrometry-based proteomics and hold a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, preferably proteomics, molecular biology, biomedicine, or systems biology. Additional experience with cell and molecular biology techniques, and familiarity with computational data analysis will be greatly valued. The candidate should be proficient in spoken and written English and have an interest in working in an interdisciplinary environment.

A three-year PhD scholarship in molecular metabolism and metabolomics is available from 1 September 2023 at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). The department is seeking outstanding candidates with a strong background in mammalian metabolism and molecular biology applied on mice and mammalian cell cultures are invited to apply.
