The EPFL Excellence Scholarship offers fully funded fellowships at master’s level to students with outstanding academic records.
This scholarship comes with a sum of CHF 10’000 per semester, Reservation of a student room in a student residence, and a certificate of excellence at the end of the program.
In order to reward the most outstanding students who are beginning their Master’s studies, EPFL offers a limited number of excellence fellowships, along with guaranteed housing, to candidates who have achieved remarkable academic results and who distinguish themselves in extracurricular activities, whether sporting, artistic, civic, or entrepreneurial.
EPFL Excellence Scholarship Description Details
The EPFL Excellence Scholarship worth CHF 10,000 per semester, are available to students who have obtained their Bachelor’s degree at EPFL, as well as to those who have begun their university studies at another institution.
Their objective is to allow students to concentrate on their Master’s studies while also having the opportunity to undertake various activities likely to enrich their professional background and to develop cross-disciplinary skills.
EPFL offers 29 Master’s programs. The programs are distributed among the five faculties and two colleges that make up the School.
Thanks to this financial support, the School also hopes to widen their perspectives by allowing them to choose their internships and first work experiences according to their scientific interest and ambitions.
Eligibility Requirements of EPFL Excellence Fellowship 2026
To be considered for the EPFL Excellence Scholarship, Applicant must have meet the following conditions:
- Applicants from any Country with any Nationality applying to an EPFL Master’s Program are eligible for the Scholarship in Switzerland.
- Anyone holding a Bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent) in a related field from a recognized university can apply to one of the EPFL Masters Programs.
- The selections of candidates and the fundings of the fellowships are done based solely on the evaluation of the academic records of the candidates.
