Description
The American Association of University Women International Fellowships is now open. The award targets women who are not citizens of the United States but want to pursue a professional career and are willing to return to their home countries after the Masters or Postgraduate Studies. The award supports women to be leaders in activism, community leadership, and several other fields.
VALUE
The AAUW fellowship award will cover the following:
- Masters or First Professional Degree – $20,000
- Doctoral Degree – $25,000
- Postdoctoral Degree – $50,000
International Fellowship funds are available for:
- Educational expenses.
- Living expenses.
- Dependent child care.
- Travel to professional meetings, conferences, or seminars that do not exceed 10% of the fellowship total.
ELIGIBILITY
- Open to women in various fields.
- Not a citizen of the US or holds an immigrant Visa.
- Hold an Academic Degree Equivalent to a U.S Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s, depending on the type of scholarship application – before the deadline.
- Intend to return to their home country after studies.
- Proficient in English Language with tests to prove.
- Relevant Motivation for pursuant of degree.
- Demonstrated financial need.
