
The Applications are open to apply for the Erasmus Mundus MemBioMed Scholarship 2025/27 in Europe. It is a Fully Funded 2 Year Master’s Degree Program Funded by the European Union.
The Erasmus MemBioMed Program is Jointly Prepared by the Three European Universities in France, Germany, and Italy. Applicants will complete Semesters 1, 2, and 3 at the three Partner Universities and the Semester is a Master’s Thesis which can be done in any one of the Partner Institutions.
The Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for students from anywhere in the world. There is no application fee and IELTS is also not required.

The International MemBioMed Master’s Programme (From Membrane Biology to Neuroscience and Experimental Medicine) is a high-quality, fully integrated degree emphasizing multidisciplinary research on biomembranes. This program is a collaboration between three prestigious universities: Université Côte d’Azur (UniCA, France), University of Genoa (UniGe, Italy), and University of Osnabrück (UOS, Germany). The complementary strengths of these institutions (spanning teaching expertise, academic resources, cutting-edge research centers, and advanced technological platforms) ensure comprehensive and dynamic training in membrane biology.
The Master’s Program will begin on September 1st, 2025, in Nice, France, at the Université Côte d’Azur.

Eligibility Criteria of the Erasmus Mundus MemBioMed Scholarship 2025/27
To be eligible for the scholarship, Applicants must meet the following requirements;
- The Scholarship is open to all the Nationals.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
- Prior laboratory and/or research experience is preferred.
- Students currently in their final year of a Bachelor’s program may apply upon providing proof of graduation by July 2025.
- Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following:
- TOEFL (580 paper, 237 computer, 93 internet-based)
- IELTS (6.5)
- CEFR B2 level
- University Language Centre certificate
- Cambridge C2 Proficiency/C1 Advanced (180/176)
- This requirement is waived for students with at least one year of secondary or university-level study in an English-language institution.

Program Structure of the Erasmus Mundus MemBioMed Scholarship 2025/27
The Erasmus MemBioMed Program is a 2-year Master’s program, consisting of 4 semesters. Semesters 1, 2, and 3 are completed at three different partner universities, and semester 4 (Thesis) is completed at any of the partner universities.
- Semester 1: Université Côte d’Azur, France.
- Semester 2: University of Genova, Italy.
- Semester 3: Osnabrück University, Germany.
- Semester 4: Master’s Thesis (Any of the above University).
