APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants for this award must have the following: 

  • An excellent Bachelor’s or equivalent in microbiology, computer sciences, quantitative biology, biochemistry, biology, genetics, and related fields. 
  • Ability to demonstrate competence in the English language, verified by any recognised English language test result like IELTS, TOEFL, and so on.

Note that students holding a master’s degree are not eligible to apply for this program.

VALUE:

  • €861 monthly during the qualifications year. 
  • Admission to PhD and funding a position for 3 years.
  • the social contribution of €315 per semester.
  • Free transportation in the area of North-Rhine Westphali.
  • Tax-free fellowship.
  • Administrative support for a visa, housing, health insurance, and enrollment, for international students via the Welcome Center of the HHU Junior and International Researcher Center.
