The yearly award is funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science of the Irish Research Council.
It intends on selecting people across countries in different disciplines from archaeology, humanities to zoology.
VALUE:
This research scholarship covers the following:
- stipend of €18,500 per annum;
- a contribution to fees, including non-EU fees, up to a maximum of €5,750 per annum;
- and eligible direct research expenses of €3,250 per annum.
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants should:
- Have a first class or upper second-class honours bachelor’s, or the equivalent, degree.
- Must not have had two previous unsuccessful applications to the programme, including strategic partner themes.
- Must not currently hold or have held a council postgraduate scholarship.
- Must be a citizen/resident of an European Union Country.
