MasterCard Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme at the University of Cambridge for 2024 is set to give over 500 Scholarships to various African countries between 2023 and 2030. The Scholars will have the privilege to choose from a range of Master’s courses offered by the University of Cambridge. The mission of this initiative is to create a network of young leaders capable of driving sustainable change across the African continent.

Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Eligibility
- Applicants must be citizens and Residents of an African Country.
- You must meet requirements for admission into your course at the University of Cambridge.
- The program must be a one year Masters Degree Program.
MasterCard Foundation Application Procedure
- Applicants should proceed by applying to a one year master’s degree at the University of Cambridge before the course’s deadline using the course directory for PG studies as a guideline.
- The scholarship application is done side by side with school applications. You will be asked to provide a supplementary statement enumerating your commitment to contributing to climate-resilient and sustainable futures for Africa.
Deadlines
- 5th of December 2023 for courses with the same deadline.
- 5th January 2024 for courses with the same deadline.
