MELBOURNE GRADUATE RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS
This scholarship is for highly qualified students interested in graduate research at the University of Melbourne, Australia. For this scholarship, you need not apply separately to the program. All you need to do is apply for a research degree before the deadline and you’ll be considered automatically.
No OF AWARDS: 600
VALUE:
- Full tuition for 2 years for a Master’s Degree and 4 years for a Doctoral Degree.
- Living allowance up to $32,400 up to 2 years for Masters by Research and 3 and a half years for Doctoral Research.
- Relocation Grant of $3000 for international students.
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Single Membership for international students who require a student visa to study in Australia.

- Bauhaus-University Weimar PHD Awards
The DFG Research Training Group Media Anthropology (GRAMA) at the Bauhaus-University Weimar has PHD openings from April 1, 2023.
ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants for this opening must have:
- Excellent degree in the humanities, sociology or cultural studies (diploma, master’s degree or equivalent).
- PhD project with a media-anthropological dimension.
- Basic knowledge in media theory and media history.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills as well as a commitment to the subject matter and to the research program are desired.
- A Strong command of German and English is required.
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS:
- A CV.
- Copies of Degree Certificates.
- Letter of motivation (1 page) (AND),
- an abstract of the research project (3 – 5 pages + references).
The abstract should clearly describe your topic, research questions and methodology of the project. It should also explain its connection to the overall research of Group Media Anthropology (GRAMA) and sum up the current status of the project with a timeline.
