Ashesi-ETH Masters Scholarship 2026 Details
Since January 2022, Ashesi University in Ghana, in collaboration with ETH Zurich, has been offering the joint Ashesi-ETH Master in Mechatronic Engineering Scholarship, an innovative and highly competitive postgraduate program designed to train the next generation of African engineering leaders.
Currently, about 40 students drawn from seven African countries are enrolled in the program at Ashesi University, benefiting from world-class academic instruction.
The program is uniquely structured around intensive block courses designed and delivered by faculty members from both institutions in Ghana and Switzerland. This collaborative teaching approach combines practical engineering application, and international exposure,
The scholarship program is built upon a strong and sustainable partnership involving Ashesi University, ETH Zurich and industrial stakeholders. This cooperation is strengthened through academic exchanges and institutional visits
Eligibility Requirements for Ashesi-ETH Master in Mechatronic Engineering 2026
To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet the following requirements :
- Be a citizen of an African country
- Hold a BSc or MSc degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Mechanical, Process, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Graduate with at least a Second Class Upper division or more
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in English
