Funding is available to CSE graduate students in the form of fellowships, research assistantships (GSRA), and teaching assistantships (GSI) at Michigan US. All PhD students in the department of Computer Science receive teaching or research assistantships that fully cover tuition and additionally provide a stipend for living expenses. This support is guaranteed for a minimum of four (4) years, given good academic standing. In recent years, many of the MCS students have also been funded through teaching or research assistantships.
