Every year, Central Queensland University welcomes applications from home and international students for its Research and Training Programme (RTP) Scholarship for Masters and Doctoral degrees.
The Central Queensland University RTP Stipend Scholarships are funded by the Australian Government. They provide funding allocated to students to assist with their living costs while undertaking a research higher degree.
If you are undertaking a research higher degree at CQUniversity, you could be eligible for the Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarship, which aims to provide funding to assist with your living costs.
CENTRAL QUEENSLAND UNIVERSITY RTP SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
The Scholarship will cover the full tuition fees of successful applicants.
Additionally, a yearly stipend of $38,000 will be provided for a three-year period.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the Central Queensland University Scholarship , you must :
- Be a domestic candidate or an overseas candidate enrolled in an accredited RHD course of study at CQUniversity.
- Not be receiving income from another source to support the candidate’s general living costs
- Meet the eligibility requirements for a Masters by Research or PhD program at the CQ University
- Not be receiving an equivalent award of scholarship from the Commonwealth designed to offset RHD tuition fees.
- Meet the English proficiency requirements of the CQ University
SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION CRITERIA
The RTP Scholarship is a merit-based Scholarship. A Scholarship Assessment Scale using three categories of performance will be used to inform the allocation of scholarships to eligible applicants, as follows :
- Academic achievement and writing skills (0-20 points)
- Quality of research project and alignment with CQUniversity research priority areas (0-15 points)
- Evidence of motivation, research experience and research environment (0-15 points)
